Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for a planned colorectal surgery (like for colon or rectal cancer, diverticulosis, or intestinal resection).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your surgery will use the Hugo RAS robotic platform.
  • You will follow an enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) program.
  • You do not have stage IV cancer or severe cognitive impairment.
  • You have not already started the surgery with a laparoscope or open method, and it is not an emergency.
