Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 or older
- You are scheduled for surgery to remove a growth from your uterus (either removing just the growth or the whole uterus)
- An ultrasound has shown a growth that doesn't look like a typical fibroid
- You are not pregnant
- You haven't had hormone therapy for the growth in the last 3 months, and haven't had a procedure to block the growth's blood supply
