Who can take part

  • Your child is between 2 years and 5 years 11 months old
  • Your child has an autism diagnosis or it is strongly suspected
  • Your child has significant trouble with communication (talking, gesturing, or understanding)
  • You speak English well enough to participate in the training in English
  • Your child's medications, therapies (like ABA or speech therapy), and school placement have been stable for at least 1 month and are not expected to change during the study
  • Your child gets no more than 1 hour of one-on-one speech therapy per week
