  • You are having abdominal surgery for a non-cancer condition.
  • You have not been diagnosed with any heart or blood vessel disease.
  • You may have had a heart attack with ST elevation (STEMI) in the past.
  • You do not have active cancer, dementia, or a serious mental health condition.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You are able to understand and follow simple instructions.
