Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your cardiac arrest was witnessed and help arrived within 10 minutes
  • The carbon dioxide in your breath (EtCO2) was above 20 when the REBOA team arrived
  • You are in the Grenoble, France area and covered by French health insurance
  • You did not regain a pulse before the REBOA balloon was placed, and the arrest was not due to trauma or pregnancy
