Who can take part
- You have ovarian clear cell carcinoma, with at least 70% of the tumor being this type, and you have a measurable tumor.
- Your cancer tests positive for HER2 (a protein on tumor cells) at a level of 1+ or higher.
- You have had no more than 2 previous lines of chemotherapy, either before or after surgery.
- If your cancer has come back, you either are sensitive to platinum drugs (like carboplatin) or resistant to them, but you have had no more than 2 chemo treatments after the recurrence.
- Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within acceptable ranges, and you are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG 0-1).
- You have not had another type of cancer (except skin or thyroid cancer) in the last 5 years, and you do not have active infections, autoimmune diseases, or other conditions that would make this treatment unsafe.
