Who can take part

  • You must be in your first trimester (≤ 13 weeks and 6 days) of pregnancy.
  • You need to have a BMI of 23 or higher, which is considered overweight or obese for Asian populations.
  • You are between 21 and 45 years old and carrying one baby.
  • You plan to deliver at National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore and are a Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
  • You are of Chinese, Malay, or Indian ethnicity and can read and speak English.
  • You are willing to wear a small sensor on your skin for at least 7 days at each clinic visit.
