Who can take part
- You are 20 years or older.
- You have had an angiography (x-ray of your heart arteries) and also an OCT scan of the affected artery before starting treatment.
- You have been diagnosed with unstable angina (chest pain at rest), a heart attack with ST elevation, or a heart attack without ST elevation.
- You have not had coronary artery bypass surgery in the past.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney problems, an active infection, cancer, or a bleeding disorder.
- Your OCT images are clear enough for the doctor to see – not blocked by a large blood clot or leftover blood.
