Who can take part

  • You received a single-organ liver transplant (only a liver, no other organs).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are willing and able to give your consent.
  • You are scheduled for a liver biopsy or had one within the last 48 hours.
  • You have not received treatment for rejection (like IV steroids) before the biopsy.
  • The biopsy is not being done to check for cancer.
