Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have alopecia areata with at least 50% scalp hair loss (SALT score ≥ 50).
  • Your current hair loss started less than 10 years ago, and you have not seen natural hair regrowth in the last 6 months.
  • You can understand and sign a consent form and are willing to follow the study rules.
  • You agree to use effective birth control during the study and for at least 28 days after.
  • You do not have other causes of hair loss (like shaving, hair implants, other scalp or medical conditions).
