Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 65 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 24 and 42.
  • You have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (at least 15 breathing pauses per hour during sleep).
  • You have been trying to control your weight with diet and exercise for at least 3 months, and your weight has not changed by more than 5 kg (11 lbs) in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have diabetes, certain thyroid or hormone conditions, or a history of some cancers or mental health conditions.
