Who can take part

  • You must be diagnosed with a kidney or urinary tract stone seen on a CT scan.
  • You are planning to have surgery to remove the stone, such as ureteroscopy or a keyhole procedure.
  • You are under 18 years old.
  • You must have consent from your parents if you are a preschooler, or from both you and your parents if you are school-age.
  • You have not had a stent placed in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have severe kidney problems, a single kidney, or other major health conditions that could affect the study.
