Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You need to have either a positive COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) or a negative test to be part of the control group.
  • You must be able to provide a breath sample through a large drinking straw-sized tube.
  • You cannot have severe lung disease or be in respiratory failure.
  • You cannot have uncontrolled diabetes like ketoacidosis.
  • You cannot smoke cigarettes, e-cigarettes, tobacco, or marijuana daily.
