Who can take part

  • You are in the hospital with weakness in one arm or hand from a recent stroke (confirmed by brain scan).
  • You are 18 years or older and willing to take part.
  • You do not have serious memory or thinking problems.
  • You are fully awake and alert (no coma or confusion).
  • You do not have a pacemaker or other serious medical problems that are unstable.
