Who can take part
- You are between 8 and 15 years old.
- You have a gap in your upper jaw on one side only (unilateral alveolar cleft).
- You have good oral hygiene and are in good general health.
- You do not have an infection or opening (fistula) in the roof of your mouth.
- You do not have a cleft on both sides (bilateral) or a syndrome linked to cleft.
- You have not had a failed attempt to repair this same gap in the past.
