Slow walking study for loss of smell

Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You have a reduced sense of smell, tested by a scratch-and-sniff test.
  • You can attend in-person and remote study visits.
  • You have a compatible smartphone (iPhone with iOS 15 or newer, or Android 9 or newer, not certain Huawei or Xiaomi models).
  • You walk less than 7,000 steps per day on average (over 21 days).
  • You do not have Parkinson's disease, dementia, or other brain conditions.
