- You are scheduled for coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) where a vein will be taken from your leg.
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You do not have poor blood flow in your legs (ankle-brachial index less than 0.8).
- You do not have severe leg swelling or heart failure that is not controlled with medicine.
- You do not have a condition that blocks leg arteries (peripheral artery disease) or causes poor leg vein flow (chronic venous insufficiency).
