Compression Bandage Comparison for Leg Ulcers

Venous Leg Ulcer (VLU)Compression Bandages

Part of Heart & circulation, Skin clinical trials.

This study compares two compression bandage systems (Mepi™ Press 2 and UrgoK2®) to treat venous leg ulcers—sores caused by poor circulation in the legs. We want to see if one bandage works as well as or better than the other at helping these ulcers heal.

Testing a gel for cleaning leg ulcers

This study tests a new gel that helps remove dead tissue from venous leg ulcers. Venous leg ulcers are open sores on the leg that happen when veins don't work well. The gel is applied to the ulcer to clean it and help it heal. You may be able to join if you are an adult with a venous leg ulcer that is not too large and has been there for a few weeks.
