Who can take part
- Your child must be a newborn or older child (up to 18 years old) seen at Assiut University Children Hospital.
- Newborns must have at least one unexplained symptom like seizures, floppy muscles, long-lasting jaundice, too much acid in blood, or odd-smelling urine.
- Infants and older children must have a confirmed high ammonia level in their blood.
- High ammonia must not be due to other medical issues (like liver problems) that are not related to metabolism.
