This study tests whether extra support through video calls and texts can help babies at risk for developmental delays. If your baby is 3 to 12 months old and you have a smartphone with WhatsApp, you may be able to join and get guidance from a physical therapist without leaving home.

Who can take part

  • Your baby must be between 3 and 12 months old (or corrected age if premature).
  • Your baby must be at risk for developmental delays (for example, due to prematurity or other factors).
  • Your family must have a smartphone with WhatsApp and internet access.
  • You and your baby must be able to attend physical therapy at the San Cecilio University Hospital in Granada.
  • Your baby cannot be walking independently yet.
  • Your baby must not have a diagnosed brain injury, vision/hearing problems, birth defects, or use braces/prosthetics.
  • Your family must speak Spanish.
