Who can take part

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Need a single-rooted tooth (like a front tooth) that either cannot be saved or must be removed for orthodontic reasons.
  • Tooth should have little to no looseness (mobility grade 0 or 1).
  • Cannot be pregnant or a heavy smoker (more than 10 cigarettes a day).
  • No major uncontrolled health conditions or recent treatments (like radiation or bisphosphonates) that affect healing.
