Who can take part

  • Your baby must be a newborn (just a few days or weeks old).
  • Your baby must be in good general health.
  • Your baby must not have a high amount of young red blood cells (called reticulocytes) that can suggest other health issues.
  • Your baby must not have any serious health problems.
