This study compares two ways to help heart patients start a cardiac rehab program: one led by a nurse, and one using a chatbot on the LINE messaging app. If you've had a heart attack, heart bypass surgery, or have stable heart failure, and you have a smartphone with LINE, you may be eligible.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have had a heart attack (STEMI or NSTEMI), heart bypass surgery, or stable heart failure (NYHA class I, II, or III).
  • You have a smartphone with internet access and can use the LINE messaging app.
  • You do not have severe heart failure (NYHA class IV) or other conditions that make cardiac rehab unsafe.
  • You are not experiencing confusion or memory problems that would affect your ability to participate.
