Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and have tested positive for rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-CCP antibodies
  • You have not had any injury or surgery on your arms or legs
  • You do not have a nerve or muscle disorder
  • You are not taking medications that can cause muscle damage (myopathy)
  • You do not have chronic kidney or liver disease, and you do not have diabetes
