Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have metastatic pancreatic cancer (cancer that has spread beyond the pancreas), confirmed by a biopsy or cell sample.
- You have not received any prior treatment for metastatic pancreatic cancer, but it is okay if you had treatment before surgery and the cancer returned more than 6 months after finishing that treatment.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (like a CT or MRI) and has not been treated with radiation recently.
- You are in good enough health to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1) and have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
- Your blood counts, liver and kidney function, and clotting are within acceptable ranges (as checked by blood tests).
