This study tests if playing special brain-computer interface (BCI) games can help keep your brain active as you age. The games use your brain waves to respond, so you don't need to move a mouse or keyboard.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild dementia
  • You have normal vision, or can see clearly with glasses or contacts
  • You can stay seated, with or without support, for about 60 minutes at a time
  • You are able to understand instructions and give your consent
  • You do not have severe health problems like active cancer, advanced heart or lung disease, or serious mental illness
  • You have no history of epilepsy with seizures in the past year, and no history of seizures triggered by flashing lights (photosensitive epilepsy)
