Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 50 or older with breast cancer that has come back in the same breast after prior breast-conserving surgery and radiation.
- The tumor is small (2 cm or less), appears in one spot on MRI, and has certain favorable features (low or medium grade, hormone-receptor positive, HER2 negative).
- The cancer has not spread to your lymph nodes or other parts of your body.
- You are healthy enough for surgery and have no serious side effects from your previous radiation.
- You can understand Dutch and give consent for the study.
