Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old and be in good general health.
- You must have gum recession (exposed tooth roots) on at least two teeth next to each other in the front upper area of your mouth.
- The recession must be deeper than 2 millimeters.
- Your gum tissue must be thick and your tooth roots must have a deep groove (concavity).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, smoke more than 15 cigarettes a day, or have had a root coverage procedure before.
- You cannot have severe tooth misalignment or gum problems caused by brushing too hard.
