Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have a diagnosis of chronic or subacute CLE (skin lupus)
- You have at least one active skin lesion at least 1 cm wide with moderate to severe activity
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have not used certain lupus medications (like topical steroids, immune-suppressing drugs, or antimalarials) on the study lesions within 1–4 weeks before starting the cream
- You do not have an active infection
