Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with your first baby.
  • You are at least 37 weeks pregnant (full term).
  • You plan to have a vaginal delivery (not a scheduled C-section).
  • You are willing to have your labor progress checked with ultrasound.
  • You do not have any of the following: breech or side-lying baby, twins, certain placenta issues, severe pregnancy complications (like HELLP), bleeding problems, or signs that your baby is in distress.
