Who can take part

  • You are an adult being referred for a routine screening or follow-up colonoscopy.
  • You are not coming in specifically to have a polyp removed or for a diagnostic procedure.
  • You have not had surgery on the right side of your colon before.
  • Your colonoscopy does not take more than 20 minutes to reach the end of the colon.
  • Your bowel preparation is rated as good or excellent (score higher than 6 on a standard scale).
