Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 85 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a colonoscopy to screen for colorectal cancer.
  • You have never had a bowel obstruction or a tear in your bowel.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder or severe blood-clotting issues.
  • You have not been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease or a condition that causes many polyps.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have no serious health problems that would make colonoscopy risky.
