Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) level is at least 130 mg/dL.
- Your average blood sugar over the past few months (A1c) is 6.0% or lower, and you do not have diabetes or prediabetes.
- You have not taken a statin drug in the last 3 months.
- You are not taking more than 2 other oral medications daily.
- You do not have serious heart, liver, or kidney disease, and you are not pregnant or planning pregnancy.
