Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with bladder cancer.
- You are scheduled to have your bladder removed and a new urine passage created (either an ileal conduit or neobladder).
- You can follow the study plan, which includes rinsing the new passage twice a day.
- You are generally well enough for surgery (ECOG performance status 0-2).
- Your kidney function is okay (serum creatinine is 1.5 mg/dL or less).
