Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for total bladder removal (cystectomy) with either open or robotic surgery
  • Your plan includes an ileal conduit or an ileal neobladder (a new urine pathway using a piece of intestine)
  • You are between 18 and 85 years old
  • Your overall health is considered acceptable for anesthesia (ASA class 1 to 4)
  • You can understand the study steps and agree to participate with informed consent
  • You have no metastatic bladder cancer (cancer spread to other organs)
