Who can take part

  • You must be an adult (18 years or older).
  • You must have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) at a specific stage (B or C).
  • Your tumor must have a protein called hTERT, which will be checked during screening.
  • You must be in fairly good health (ECOG score of 0 or 1) and have a Child-Pugh score of A, meaning your liver is working well.
  • You must have a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
  • You cannot have moderate or severe fluid buildup in your belly (ascites), a history of hepatic encephalopathy (liver-related brain issues), or HIV.
