Who can take part

  • You are 19 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with advanced or unresectable liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma).
  • You have not received any prior systemic treatment (medications given throughout the body) for your liver cancer.
  • You are generally able to perform daily activities (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • You have adequate liver, kidney, and blood function as determined by lab tests.
  • You do not have significant heart, lung, or autoimmune diseases.
  • You are willing to undergo an endoscopy to check for enlarged veins in the esophagus or stomach (varices) unless done recently.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and agree to use contraception if applicable.
