Who can take part
- You must be healthy, with no conditions like diabetes or blood clotting problems
- You cannot have taken medications that affect your gums in the last 6 months (such as certain blood pressure or seizure drugs)
- You must be a non-smoker or have quit smoking for at least 10 years
- Your teeth and gums must be generally healthy, with less than 15% plaque or bleeding
- You need to have at least one receding gum on the front of a tooth that is not due to a cavity or infection
