  • You are scheduled to receive a liver transplant.
  • You agree to take part in the study and sign a consent form.
  • You do not have actively bleeding varices in your esophagus or stomach.
  • You do not have a bleeding ulcer in your stomach or esophagus.
  • You do not have any birth defects or past surgery that changed the shape of your esophagus or stomach.
