A Chinese herbal formula for persistent high-risk HPV after treatment

This trial tests a Chinese herbal formula (Cnidium Monnieri Detoxification Formula) to see if it can clear high-risk HPV that remains in the cervix even after surgery or other treatments. It is for people who have completed treatment for cervical or vaginal precancer or cancer but still test positive for high-risk HPV.

Who can take part

  • You are between 25 and 75 years old and have had sexual activity.
  • You have tested positive for high-risk HPV for at least 6 months after finishing treatment for cervical or vaginal precancer or cancer.
  • You have not received any other local or whole-body treatment for HPV in the last 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no other uncontrolled cancers or serious heart, lung, liver, kidney, or blood clotting problems.
