- You have had hand tendon inflammation symptoms for at least 3 months.
- You have pain when bending your wrist while holding your thumb (Finkelstein's test) and when clenching your fist and bending your wrist.
- You have not had any hand or wrist surgery or major injuries.
- You are generally healthy, without serious heart, lung, brain, or other major medical conditions.
- You are able to do mild to moderate exercise as part of the treatment.
