Electrical stimulation and biofeedback for children with muscle tightness

Who can take part

  • Child is between 5 and 10 years old.
  • Child has mild to moderate muscle tightness (spasticity) in arms (grade 1+ to 2 on a standard scale).
  • Child can move objects with some difficulty (level II on manual ability scale).
  • Child can understand and follow simple instructions.
  • Child has no vision or hearing problems, no seizures, and no major arm deformities or recent arm surgery.
  • Child has not had Botox injections in the arms in the last 6 months.
