Who can take part
- Between 18 and 70 years old
- Diagnosed with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (not nasopharyngeal, salivary, or thyroid) that has spread to lymph nodes
- Your cancer is considered early stage but locally advanced (stage II, III, IVA, or IVB, depending on HPV status)
- You are able to undergo surgery to remove the tumor
- You have good overall health (ECOG score 0-1) and normal organ function
- No prior treatment with PD-1/PD-L1 or EGFR inhibitors, no active autoimmune disease, and no serious heart or lung conditions
