Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer inside the liver) that has continued to grow or could not be tolerated after at least one prior treatment.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan and is large enough (more than 1.5 cm) to be injected with the study drug under ultrasound or CT guidance.
- Your blood test shows you have had a past infection with herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1, the virus that causes cold sores), which is needed for the study drug to work.
- You are in generally good health (able to do daily activities, ECOG score 0 or 1) and your organs (like blood, liver, kidneys) are working well enough based on blood tests.
- You are willing to use effective birth control during the study and for 90 days after the last dose, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
