Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have an advanced solid tumor that did not respond to or you could not tolerate standard treatments.
- You must have antibodies against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), meaning you have been exposed to the virus before.
- You cannot have an active herpes outbreak (like cold sores or genital herpes) at the time of the study.
- You must not have had cancer treatment or major surgery in the last 4 weeks before starting the drug.
- Women who can get pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during and for 90 days after treatment.
