Who can take part

  • You are having surgery or treatment for an ankle, mid-foot, or hind-foot fracture or fusion at QEII Health Sciences Centre.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have any wound healing problems after surgery.
  • You will be able to walk in a boot and put weight on your foot 6 weeks after surgery or injury.
  • You do not have other conditions like lymphedema or heart disease that could affect results.
