Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You are a current or former smoker with at least 10 pack-years of smoking history (for example, a pack a day for 10 years).
  • You have mild-to-severe COPD and are currently having a flare-up that is not severe enough to need emergency hospitalization.
  • You have not had a stroke, heart attack, or major surgery in the last 30 days.
  • You have not received any vaccines or interferon therapy in the past 30 days.
