Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
- You have had one prior chemotherapy treatment that did not work (or your cancer came back within 6 months after finishing adjuvant therapy), and that treatment did not include a platinum drug or irinotecan.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
- You are generally able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0–2).
- Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within acceptable ranges.
