Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have liver cancer that can't be removed by surgery, and either you haven't had any treatment yet, or this is a first recurrence after a cure (with no follow-up treatment)
  • Your liver is working well enough (Child-Pugh grade A) and there is enough healthy liver tissue (over 700 ml)
  • The cancer is only in your liver (no spread to other organs), and you have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are within safe limits (example: platelets at least 60, no severe anemia)
