Who can take part

  • You are an adult who speaks English or Spanish.
  • You are a woman who is non-white or Hispanic and have had cancer.
  • Your joint pain is at least a 4 out of 10 in the past week.
  • You have had joint pain on 15 or more days in the last month.
  • Your joint pain has lasted for at least one month.
  • You haven't had acupuncture for pain in the last three months.

This trial tests whether acupuncture can help with pain, fatigue, and sleep problems in breast cancer survivors who are on hormone therapy. You must have completed your main cancer treatment at least 3 months ago, never had acupuncture before, and currently have at least two of these symptoms with a severity of 3 or more out of 10.

This trial tests whether acupuncture can help breast cancer survivors who still have pain, trouble sleeping, fatigue, anxiety, depression, or memory problems after finishing main treatments. You may be able to join if you are on hormone therapy and have at least two of these ongoing symptoms.
